Warranty: What's Covered?Updated 9 days ago
Your Flappie comes with a 24-month warranty from the delivery date. Here’s what’s covered — and what’s not.
What’s covered?
The warranty covers material, manufacturing, and assembly defects that affect the function of your Flappie. This includes:
- Sensor or camera failures
- Connectivity issues (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth hardware)
- Flap mechanism defects
- Faulty electronics or housing damage from production errors
- Power adapter issues (provided the included adapter was used)
What’s not covered?
- Normal wear and tear, scratches, and cosmetic damage
- Damage from improper installation — e.g. incorrect mounting, wrong power adapter, not following the instructions
- Damage from external factors — drops, water, extreme temperatures, pet damage
- Unauthorised modifications — opening the device, replacing parts, third-party tampering
- AI features: Prey and facial recognition are provided “as is”. Detection accuracy and software performance are not grounds for repair, replacement, or refund — however, the AI is continuously improved through updates and your feedback.
What happens in a warranty case?
Depending on the defect, we’ll either repair or replace your Flappie — typically in consultation with you:
- Repair — on-site or at our workshop
- Replacement device — if repair isn’t possible or would be disproportionate
- Refund — in rare cases where neither repair nor replacement is feasible
For confirmed warranty claims, we’ll reimburse your documented shipping costs.
Warranty period

Your statutory consumer rights under applicable EU law apply alongside this warranty and are not affected by it.
